This year seven Jennings County High School junior and senior contestants competed to become Gala Queen. Queen contestants Alexa Boyd, Abagail Gaines, Andi Gudgel, Lesley Hatton, Autumn Maschino, Storm Miller, and Haley Pittman raised over $17,000.
Alexa Boyd was ultimately crowned the 2020 Gala Queen and Autumn Maschino was recognized as the runner-up, which was new to the contest this year.
Again this year, Tom Lawson infused energy into the capacity crowd (of more than 420) during the live auction pitting bidder against bidder for some of the luxury items. The live and silent auctions generated over $11,500.
New this year was a “Best Dressed” contest with the winning female, Adrianna Gasper, winning male, Ron Collins and winning couple, Jeff and Tina Yeager. Thanks to everyone who participated in the contest!
