Message From the President

Laura Leonard, Our Hospice of South Central Indiana

Hospice Care, the family-centered team approach to caring for persons with life-limiting conditions, has evolved into an important part of the lives of many more people than ever before. Throughout the United States and the world, the comprehensive management of symptoms and the attention to individual needs at the end of life are imperatives that are considered the gold standard of care.

Laura Leonard

At Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, we take to heart the privilege of caring for patients with advanced illnesses and their families as life progresses to the last moment. Our Hospice was established in 1980 by a dedicated group of individuals who believed that end-of-life care should be provided in an environment of comfort, peace and dignity. Today, we continue this legacy by providing the highest quality of care and support to everyone who needs our services. Wherever our patients reside within our 16-county service area, our commitment to providing skilled and compassionate care in a comforting environment guides our every action every day.

We invite you to learn more about us by visiting our website, coming in to our Inpatient Facility located in Columbus, Indiana, or contacting us by phone or email. As a non-profit, community-based organization, we take pride in being the best choice in providing the help, comfort, and care that our neighbors deserve.
