We know that getting the best healthcare treatment requires a good diagnosis - and a lab test plays an important role in the upfront diagnostic work. That's why our Laboratory Services is here 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide timely, quality lab testing and results to your doctor and healthcare team.
Our work is nationally accredited by the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists. This gives you added assurance that our medical laboratory is following the strictest standards for quality, accuracy, technical process, and safety.
Our Expert Staff
Our board certified pathologists at the Columbus Regional Health medical laboratory work with a team of professional, technical and support staff to produce over one million lab test results each year. Our laboratory services professionals include Registered Medical Technologists, Registered Medical Laboratory Technicians, Clinical Laboratory Assistants, Registered Histotechnologists, Registered Cytotechnologists and others with Associate, Bachelors, or Masters Degrees in technical management areas.
New Fast Lab Appointments
We are excited to now offer scheduled next-day lab appointments for patients who wish to avoid multiple stops and wait times. Next-day lab appointments are available between the hours of 9 am-3 pm, Monday through Friday.
Patients may schedule their appointment by calling 812-375-3718 or 1-800-841-4938. They will be pre-registering at the same time, making their visit quick and convenient. On the day of their appointment, they will be able to go directly to the Outpatient Laboratory, sign in at the Kiosk, and a laboratory staff member will take care of them.
