Dr Ramesh Chillal Kashinath graduated from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore, India, and completed Internal Medicine residency at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India, where he was also a chief resident. He then completed Internal Medicine Residency at John H Stroger Hospital of Cook County, Chicago, Illinois, and worked there as an academic Hospitalist. He did fellowship in Cardiovascular disease at same institute and then completed Interventional Cardiology fellowship from Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois.
His special interests include coronary interventions, structural heart disease and coronary chronic total occlusion interventions.
