Biography
Education & Training:
Dr. Tannenbaum graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor and completed his orthopedic surgery residency training at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He received fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine at Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Van Nuys, California.
Honors and Awards
During his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, Dr. Tannenbaum was captain of the NCAA Division 1 wrestling team, a 4-Time All-American, and national finalist. He also received academic honors in 2003, 2004, and 2006.
Specialties:
Dr. Tannenbaum specializes in the treatment of sports-related disorders, joint replacement, and shoulder, elbow, knee, hip, ankle, and wrist care.
Team Coverage Experience:
He previously served as team physician for the University of Michigan football, wrestling, and volleyball teams and the Los Angeles Valley College football team.
