Amy graduated with her bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from Loyola University Chicago in 1996. Throughout her bedside nursing career, she specialized in critical care and surgical services. During her ten years in the post-anesthesia care unit at Columbus Regional Health, Amy had the opportunity care for the patients of OB/GYN Associates as well as establish relationships with the physicians who practice there. While obtaining her master's degree in nursing (MSN) at Ball State University and training at OB/GYN Associates, she solidified her passion for caring for women. She desires to empower women to make decisions that will improve their health and well-being.

Amy is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She and her husband, Brian have two children. They are members of a local church and are passionate about missions work.
